Job Purpose

The Bartender Senior is a guest-facing, hospitality-driven role responsible not only for exceptional bartending service, but also for supporting floor operations and helping the team meet daily service and performance goals. This individual plays a key role in driving the success of the bar and overall guest experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting in shift execution, and leading by example.

Bartender Senior are expected to have a deep understanding of the venue’s beverage, food, and gaming offerings. In addition to making and serving drinks, they contribute to team coordination, uphold standards, and support smooth shift transitions through effective communication and leadership presence on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beverages according to venue standards and recipes

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to all guests

• Support the floor team and act as a liaison between bar and operations

• Assist with shift goals, communicating needs to leadership and team

• Help monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, inventory, and presentation

• Lead by example in attitude, work ethic, and guest engagement

• Document or communicate team performance concerns and wins to management

• Ensure team members are aware of daily promotions or product pushes

• Stay current on cocktail trends, seasonal menus, and training initiatives

• Accurately handle cash and financial transactions

• Participate in pre-shift meetings, training, and venue-wide initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Minimum 3 years bartending experience required; craft cocktail experience preferred

• Proven ability to lead by example and support shift operations

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Familiarity with bar sanitation and safety standards

• High level of professionalism, hospitality, and team focus

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and move throughout the venue

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance

• Must be comfortable working in a physically active, high-energy environment

• Regular use of hands, arms, and legs; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs

 Compensation

$15.00 hr. Plus tips
